Travel
east along the A13 from the roundabout at its junction with the A406 (South
Circular). Turn right across the underpass into River Road. Straight ahead
across a set of lights, then turn left into Thames Road. At the end of this
road turn right into Renwick Road. Immediately pull up on the righthand
side of the road and park (A), if you wish to visit the Ripple Nature Reserve
(B). If you wish to walk beside the Thames, continue down Renwick Road and
park near to the entrance to the power station on the righthand side of
the road (C). Nearly opposite are some large gates, beside which is a style
(D) to a footpath. Follow this, bearing right, and it will take you down
to the Thames (E). You may walk east or west (with difficulty) from here. |
