From the Redbridge Roundabout (where the A406 crosses the A12) take the A406 north and then the left slip road for the A104. This takes you up onto a roundabout. Take the A104 going north to Woodford and follow this road until you pass the turning on your left for the A1069 to Chingford. You are now on the map! Continue along the A104 to the next roundabout (the Robin Hood Pub) and leave it by the first exit to High Beech. A few hundred yards on is a junction with a carpark on the left (a red X on the map). Alternatively, continue along the A104 to a carpark marked Y on the map. This is at Wake Pond. Epping Forest is vast (dont get lost!) and there are many other places to park and enter the forest - some are shown on the map.
